Before anything else, you'll have a 1-to-1 consultation with Samina. She'll assess your skin tone, hair type, and the areas you want treated — then build a personalised treatment plan specifically for you.
2. Skin Preparation :
The treatment area is cleaned and prepared. You'll be advised to shave the area 24 hours before your appointment — this ensures the laser energy targets the follicle rather than the surface hair.
3. Laser Treatment :
The SMARTDiode handpiece glides over the skin, delivering precise pulses of laser energy directly into the hair follicles. The integrated cooling system keeps the skin surface comfortable throughout.
4. After Your Session :
There's no downtime. You can return to your daily activities immediately. Some clients experience mild redness for a few hours, which settles quickly. Samina will provide full aftercare guidance after every session.
5. Your Course of Sessions :

The SMARTDiode's advanced cooling system keeps the skin surface cool throughout, making treatments comfortable for the vast majority of clients. Most describe the sensation as a mild warmth or gentle tingling — nothing more. Sessions are fast; underarms can be done in minutes, and full legs in as little as 10 minutes.
After Treatment :
There is no downtime after laser hair removal. You can return to your normal activities immediately after your session. Mild redness or sensitivity in the treated area is completely normal and usually settles within a few hours.
Your Treatment Course :
Because hair grows in different cycles, laser energy can only target follicles during their active growth phase. This is why a course of sessions is needed for the best results. Most clients require 6 to 8 sessions, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. Samina will recommend the ideal schedule for your specific hair type and the area being treated.
Ongoing Results :
After completing your course, most clients enjoy long-term hair reduction — with many experiencing permanent results in treated areas. Top-up sessions once or twice a year are all that's needed for some clients to maintain their results.
Before Your Appointment
• Shave the area to be treated 24 hours before your session — do not wax or epilate
• Avoid sun exposure, sunbeds, and fake tan for at least 2 weeks before treatment
• Remove any makeup, deodorant, or skin products from the treatment area
• Avoid using retinol or strong active skincare products for 48 hours beforehand
• Stay hydrated and arrive with clean, dry skin
• Avoid applying any perfumes, lotions, or oils on the treatment area on the day of your appointment
After Your Appointment
• Apply a gentle, fragrance-free moisturiser or aloe vera gel to soothe the skin
• Avoid sun exposure and use SPF 30+ on treated areas for at least 2 weeks
• Do not use hot baths, saunas, or steam rooms for 48 hours after treatment
• Avoid exfoliating the treated area for 5 to 7 days
• Do not wax, thread, or epilate between sessions — shaving only
